This Christmas, Lower Precinct Shopping Centre is thrilled to present our Merry Midweek Magic and Sparkle Saturday events, designed to fill your holiday shopping with joy, excitement, and unforgettable experiences. Join us as we transform your shopping days into festive celebrations!

Merry Midweek Magic: Late Night Shopping Fun each Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm

Make your Wednesday evenings extraordinary with special activities planned each week leading up to Christmas:

Week One: Wednesday 27th November – Welcome the festive spirit as two cheeky elves roam Lower Precinct, spreading joy and giving out FREE hot chocolate coupons* in partnership with our very own Cafè Nero.

Week Two: Wednesday 4th December – Snap a holiday selfie with “Selfie Elfie” and fun props. Post your photo on social media, tag Lower Precinct, and enter for a chance to win an exciting prize!

Week Three: Wednesday 11th December  – Embrace Coventry’s traditions with a taste of God Cakes, freshly baked from local bakery The Heritage Bakehouse shared alongside warm, non-alcoholic mulled wine for our evening shoppers.

Week Four:  Wednesday 18th December – Test your luck in the “Merry Money Grabber” booth, where you can grab vouchers** for your favourite stores. Will you catch a winning prize?

Sparkle Saturdays: Festive Family Fun each Saturday from 11am until 3pm

Every Saturday from November 30th to December 21st, Lower Precinct becomes a winter wonderland filled with magical activities:

Week One: Saturday 30th November  – Join our ‘Paint-a-Bauble’ workshop inside our festive inflatable igloo. Children can create their own Christmas ornament to take home.

Week Two: Saturday 7th December  – Step into our igloo cinema and enjoy the whimsical movie, ‘Alien Who Stole Christmas’.

Week Three: Saturday  14th December  – Compete in our Nintendo Wii Skiing contest! Keep track of the leader board and see if you can win the grand prize.

Week Four: Saturday 21st December  – Experience the thrill of Christmas with our VR roller coaster installation, the perfect way to wrap up your festive shopping.

Event Terms and Conditions

1. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18
2. This event is free to attend.
3. Lower Precinct reserves the right to refuse entry.
4. Lower Precinct at its absolute discretion reserves the right at any time to cancel or amend events, activities, workshops, alter times, prices and services without notice.
5. If the event is cancelled in its entirety, Lower Precinct will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Dogs and all other pets are not permitted within the Lower Precinct or any events. This is with the exception of Assistant Dogs and some restrictions do apply. 
7. Admission to any event, activity or workshop is at your own risk. Lower Precinct will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages or emotional distress sustained at or during or following the event, activity or workshop including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles.
8. Please note that CCTV, film cameras and photographers may be present. By entering Lower Precinct, you consent to filming stills photography and sound recording and its use in distribution (commercial or otherwise) without any payment.
9. If you experience any problems during the event, activity or workshop, please contact a member of Lower Precinct staff, as it may not be possible to resolve issues after the event, activity or workshop.

Digital Competition Terms & Conditions 

1. The Lower Precinct competition will be open for entries from 11am on 2nd of December until 11am on 16th of December 2024.
2. To enter the competition follow the instructions on the competition post.
3. All entries will be collated and a winner will be picked at random.
4. There is no cash alternative available.
5. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. 
6. By entering the promotion you accept these terms and conditions and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion.
7. The prize will be dropped to the winner by the management team. 
8. If the entrants fail to agree to these terms and conditions they will be automatically excluded from the promotion.
9. The promoter and partners have arranged this competition in good faith and cannot accept liability in any matter relating to the competition whatsoever.
10. The entrant’s personal information (photo) will be used only on the website and social media of the Lower Precinct shopping centre and will not be passed on to any third parties other than where legally or contractually obliged. 
11. This competition is for Lower Precinct tenants ONLY. 
12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
